WE BUY PHONES

Sell Your Phone in Auckland

Working, cracked or refusing to charge, we buy phones and tablets at our Mount Eden workshop. Free valuation while you wait, same-day payment, and a certified data wipe on every device we take.

How selling your phone works

Free valuation, no obligation, and no device sent away for assessment behind closed doors.

1. Bring it in, or ask for a quote

Bring the phone to our Mount Eden workshop, or message us the model and condition and we will give you an indication before you make the trip.

2. We test it in front of you

We check the screen, battery health, cameras, buttons, charging and network status while you wait. No device is sent away for a mystery assessment.

3. You get a firm offer

The valuation reflects the model, the storage, the battery health and the actual condition. We explain what moved the number up or down so it is never a black box.

4. Same-day payment

Accept the offer and you are paid the same day. Bring photo ID, which we are required to record when buying second-hand devices.

What actually moves the offer

Battery health. On an iPhone this is a number you can read yourself under Settings, and it is one of the strongest signals of what a handset is worth. A phone needing a battery is still worth buying; it just changes the maths.

Screen condition. Deep cracks, dead touch areas, burn-in and green lines all reduce the value, because they mean a screen replacement before resale.

Account and network status. A phone must be signed out of iCloud or Google, and must not be blacklisted or on finance. This is the single most common reason a sale cannot go ahead, so it is worth checking before you come in.

Storage and model year. Larger storage holds value, and newer models hold it better. Older handsets still sell, particularly popular models with good parts availability.

Devices we buy

  • iPhone, from recent models back through older generations
  • Samsung Galaxy S, Note, A and Z series
  • Google Pixel and other mainstream Android phones
  • iPad and Android tablets
  • Phones with cracked screens, worn batteries or faulty ports
  • Locked-to-carrier phones, assessed case by case

Bring photo ID. We are required to record identification when buying second-hand devices.

Selling questions

Yes. A cracked screen, a tired battery or a faulty charging port reduces the valuation but rarely rules a phone out, because those are repairs we do in-house every day. Water-damaged phones that do not power on are assessed individually.
