No signal on the TV
The console powers on and the fan spins, but the TV reports no signal on that input. The console is running perfectly; the video simply is not reaching the cable.
BOARD-LEVEL HDMI REPAIR
A console with no picture is usually a broken HDMI port, not a dead console. We replace the port itself using micro-soldering on PS4, PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, so you keep the console, the storage and every saved game.

Free diagnosis, an upfront quote, and a 90-day parts and labour warranty on every repair.
The console powers on and the fan spins, but the TV reports no signal on that input. The console is running perfectly; the video simply is not reaching the cable.
If wiggling or propping up the HDMI cable brings the picture back, the port's solder joints or pins are damaged. This is the clearest sign of a failing port.
A port that moves when you plug the cable in has partly separated from the board. Left alone it will eventually tear the pads underneath, which turns an easy repair into a hard one.
Look into the port with a torch. Bent, flattened or missing pins mean the connector needs replacing rather than straightening, because a bridged pin can damage the board.
Someone tripped over the cable, or the console was moved while plugged in. Physical force is the cause of nearly every broken HDMI port we see.
If you have already tried another cable, another input and another TV, the fault is at the console end. That is a useful test to do before bringing it in.
Diagnosis first. We confirm the fault is the port rather than the board, the power supply or the TV. There is no point replacing a port on a console whose real problem lies elsewhere.
The old port comes off with hot air. Controlled heat releases the connector without cooking the surrounding components. The pads underneath are then cleaned and inspected under magnification for lifted or torn traces.
A new port goes on and gets tested. Once fitted, the console is reassembled and tested across resolutions, because a port that works at 1080p but fails at 4K has not really been repaired.
One piece of advice: stop using a wobbly port as soon as you notice it. Every further plug-in risks tearing the pads off the board, which is the difference between a routine repair and a difficult one.
Try another HDMI cable and another TV input first. If the picture still does not come back, bring the console and its power cable to us.

Yes. The port is a separate component soldered to the mainboard, so it can be removed and replaced. We use hot air to lift the damaged port, clean and inspect the pads underneath, then fit and test a new one. Replacing the console or the whole board is not necessary in the great majority of cases.
